About the Header

I designed the header after a particular turning point in my life that at one point, I could not believe I would ever make it through.

Many people, unrelated (or so it seemed at the time) began to tell me that nothing had been broken. That God would only build upon what He has already set in place.

As hard as that was to believe at the time, I began to heal and eventually the word ‘restore‘ became something that I held on to. It holds particular power in meaning, essentially defining ‘a return’ and not just to what once was, but a complete return – to be set on the path closer to the fulfillment of what we are meant to do.

We are all meant to walk through fires at one point in our lives or another, once we emerge from it, we do so on a path that is closer still to our destinies. Our struggles would have indeed not brought us further away but in fact, will have led us closer to that which God wishes us for us to achieve.

For ‘His power is made stronger in my weakness.’ .

All that I am, bears testament to Him who carried me through my fires and set me aright. He who made me whole and renewed me from cinders to a phoenix.

All that I am, every small part of me, glories in Him who can dream dreams for me that are bigger than I could ever dream for myself.

All that I am today, is His work of restoration.

Behold, today, He is doing a new thing.
He makes all things new.
